Nathan started Light The Way to give back to his community that believes in his dream that he
could be a race car driver at a young age. Nathan knew that he could make a difference. He
wanted to give big but he knew no matter how small the help that it was always the thought
that counted at the end of the day. Nathan went out to ask people in his community if they
knew any family in need. One of his friends knew a family that was in need of help. They had
two girls and the dad was sick. He asked his friends to find out what they needed. The family
needed food for Christmas and  gifts to give to his girls. Nathan went to a Local Harris Teeter
and asked for help to provide a family with food for a Christmas dinner. Nathan had everything
done. He was ready to put a smile on a family's face. Nathan next idea was to raise money for
Victory Junction Gang Camp. Nathan asked his sponsors to join him on this one by putting jars
at each business and he went to different race teams for items to auction off. Nathan
successfully raised over $600.00 for the Kids at the camp. Nathan was excited that he was
giving to families and Kids that need help. Nathan has always loved giving  back. He knows
that without help he could not follow his dream.

Nathan lost his grandpa on February 7th, 2011.  Nathan knows how special a grandparent is.  His
biggest fan was his grandpa.  Nathan’s charity will be making visits to assisted living homes to give
hope, friendship, smiles and love back.

God Bless
Nathan Geist
